Just left a dealer after much debating the purchase of a CPO '14 535. Rep mentioned that as of tomorrow, Sep 1st, 2017, the certified warranty will be ONE (1) year / unlimited miles instead of the current two (2) years / 100k miles. Can anyone confirm this?
Have a question. I have a 2008 650 manual transmission. I just replaced all four rotors and brake pads. Bleed the calipers and put the wheels back on. Went to test drive it and my emergency brake is rubbing on both wheels. At assitance in diagnosing this problem would be greatly appreciated.
This is the first time I got my oil changed at an indy shop, and after it was done and I drove off, I checked the oil level in "Vehicle Information" and it's only at about half way between Min and Max. I drove it about 20 minutes to the shop, then drove it 10 minutes to work after the change. I...
I've searched on the type of engine oil to use and there are some varying opinions.
I wanted to get a more difinitive response.

Some people use Mobil1 0w40.

The rolling circumference for the 225/50R17 is 1980.86mm whilst the 205/55R17 is 1982.37mm

Hey anyone changed their tranny fluid and have the tranny go out shortly after? I have 92000 on my 7 and the pan and the seal is leaking so I am going to change it out. Heard some stories of the tranny going out shortly after changing. Even the local dealer said he has had some go out after...
Just got a 1998 528i, the guy I bought it from was the second owner. He got it with 60k miles so I'm assuming the ATF wasn't changed for him. He also was a firm believer of BMWs lifetime tranny fluid so he never had it changed. Now the car has 180,000 miles, and has yet to see an ATF change...
So it's that time again to look for tires for my car, and maybe change the grills for my 540i sports wagon..
