foglights

So I bought a 2001 325i from a friend of mine and he bought it from someone on Craigslist. The car is in pretty good condition but the initial owner messed with the turn signal and now it's apparently messed up. The fog lights and turn signal lights work when they want to and now the right turn...

I've looked around but can't confirm any way to do this. Does anyone know if the rear foglights can be coded to turn on with front foglights? I really don't want to buy the Euro X3 light switch.
