I just bought a 2006 325i with 40k miles from a dealer and now I'm getting the low oil level indicator on my dash. The dealer supposedly changed the oil--I've driven the car about 1000 miles, why would the light be on? Thanks.

Is it normal for the "low light" led to light up when I turn on my lights for driving at night? If I start with and keep my brights on the led does not light up. Should this be happening or is there something that I should be checking out? Sorry if this is nonsensical...
