I was planning on replacing the transmission fluid but i hear that the transmission fluid 'doesn't' need replacing?? Is this true? I'm sure fluid eventually gets dirty and/or burnt up right? If someone could please shed some light on this. Thank you! :)

Is there a way to reset the Interval lights on a 2000 BMW 528i. I plan to do the oil changes myself and I am wondering how I can go about resetting the maintenance light. I tried disconnecting the battery but that had no effect. Any ideas? Kev:cry:
