2013 BMW 528i X Drive 59K miles
Check Engine Light (CEL) came on today and OBD tool said P0304 Cylinder 4 Misfire Detected.
Cleared the code and drove hard for about 15 - 20 minutes and CEL did NOT come back on.
Could the P0304 be a one off?
Since it has not come back on I do not think I have...

Consistently getting error codes P0174, P0305, P0306, P0304, P0300 for the last several months. Vacuum leak? Replace injectors? Replace valve cover gasket? Any thoughtful...
I had a P0305. Since I just hit 100k miles I replaced all spark plugs and coils.
After swap I got:
I took out 3 and for in case i had a bad connection and reinstalled - same problem
Swapped 3 and 4 - Same problem
Put one of the old working coils...
TL;DR: getting P1017 code and misfires, replaced eccentric shaft sensor and a couple coils, still getting P1017 and misfires. Help.
After being a longtime lurker I've decided to make an account in hopes of getting some help with some issues I've been having with my 2008 BMW 328i (6spd).
I have 2003 X5 3.0, its got P0304, P0303, P0300, P0171 & P0174. I recently changed all 6 spark plugs with BOSCH spark plugs and switched Ignition coils of Cylinder 3 & 4 with that of 1 & 2. After clearing the check engine light and ran the X5 for 30 miles or so and now all the same error...
