  1. X3 F25 (2011 - 2017)
I'm doing regular maintenance on our F25 and its about time to do the rear brakes. I'm planning on replacing the pads and discs, and did the rounds on YouTube videos (Thanks BAV Auto!) and went through the steps in ISTA+. Everything matched up except for torque specs. According to ISTA+, the...

I recently discovered play in the rear wishbone ball joints (the ones pressed into the knuckle) so set about replacing them yesterday. I used a specific bush tool for this car and pushed out the first side. I've gone to put the new one in (Lemforder) and it has pushed straight through, I can...

So I'm trying to rebuild my e93 after getting rear ended, I would love some pictures of some e93 rear ends preferably without the bumper on so I can use it kind of as a guide for when I pull my body/shell back into place. I've taken apart the rear bumper cover, rear bumper, rear bumper center...

  7. X5 E70 (2007 - 2013)
Just replaced my driver's door handle with what I thought was just the replacement for the "left" side, as the parts catalog didn't seem to list a separate "left front" and "left rear" item. However, a follow-up from the seller (getbmwparts.com) pointed out that there is in fact a different...
  8. F22 / F23 2 Series (2014 - Current)
I installed the AVIN display and not only does it look better than the 6.5in, but the touchscreen is a nice addition. I also added the CarPlay dongle and it works decently well. There are some slight latency issues after it has been used for a short while. It seems to be something an updated...

Any input is greatly appreciated... I have a 2011 750lxi and I recently replaced both front half shafts. Well, the right side boot was a manufacturer defect that was leaking grease from the factory sealed ring. BMW said hey we will repair/replace the boot at no charge. I picked up my car from...
  11. E46 (1999 - 2006)
I have denied the fact that it is happening but the read of my 2001 BMW 330i is sagging (rear looks very lowered/slammed). It is on Koni 8040 1271SPORT Adjustable shocks. I am uncertain whether it is the shock or the springs that are causing this. There is also an unpleasant loose rattle noise...
  12. E46 (1999 - 2006)
Hiya, I've got my E46 330i Touring on Eibach sportline springs but the rear end links appear to be knocking on the trailing arm. Garage has recommended I try and fit some shorter drop links. Are the M3 ones any shorter? Any recommendations :dunno:?
  13. E46 (1999 - 2006)
Hi, I have been having trouble with my cars left hand side tail light not working like it should. Basically i found out yesterday that both grounds in the connector for the tail lights were burnt. So, no big deal i thought and I re soldered the grounds to the tail lights them selves following...

Hi, I'm new to the forum but I'm wondering if anyone knows anything, but weirdest thing happened driving back from vacation? I was driving on the motorway and got a warning light about tyre pressure. I pulled over and checked the tires r18 255/55. They all appeared fine, but likely the rear...
  15. E90/E91/E92/E93 (2006 - 2013)
I upgraded the rear speakers in my 2010 e93 with gladen speakers but after reinstalling the rear side panels , these moved slightly down from the upper part (where the led lighting is), looks like these inner clips can only be used once, anyone have had the same and has a solution ?
  16. E60 / E61 (2004 - 2010)
Hey everyone, I have a 09 E60 528i. Occasionally I'll hear a metallic-like rattle/knocking sound coming somewhere from behind me. It sounds like something metal knocking against something metal. It usual occurs when I hit a pothole or a bump just right, however it doesn't always occur. It's...
  17. X5 E70 (2007 - 2013)
My 2011 x5 e70 suspension would sag over night. Sprayed water and soap on rear air bags and saw small leaks. Replaced both air bags with those provided by Suncore out of Florida. Cost is $64 each. Had them in about 4 days and installed them in about 30 min. Works great. Highly reccomend!
  18. E39 (1997 - 2003)
Hi all. I'm on my 4th Beemer now and have loved every one of them. However, my latest one was brought to accommodate the family and not my comfortable speed desires! LOL I now have a late 2003 525d Tourer. It's been a total workhorse so far with very few problems. However, one such problem I do...
  19. E46 (1999 - 2006)
Hi All, Over the last month I have been experiencing a slight whining/howling noise coming from the rear drivers side at around when I shift into 4th gear at around 30mph. This noise then goes away once I am in gear and drive on. Also I have tried coasting at around 30mph and the noise is still...
