I am starting to go hiking in some backforest areas. This means driving over some state forest roads that are not paved, and often have some pretty nasty potholes. I've already had issues with bottoming out on some of those potholes. Rather than get a new car to simply go over these roads...

Am I correct in understanding- If the car is parked (but is on / running) and you push the ride height adjust button and it raises to the maximum level, the only way to get it to go back down to the "medium" height point (light off) is to drive it over 20MPH and push the ride height button...
