I have a '90 325i and I've been looking to get a roof rack or roof basket but im not sure which to get. Anyone help me out or have any ideas? Also what woul be the best way to install one?

I got the BMW roof rack as well as the surf board mount. The straps that came with it are not tensioning straps so they are a bit of a pain to use. I see that BMW sells a Heavy Duty tensioning strap but I cannot find a picture of it anywhere. SHould I get the BMW strap or is there another...

Anyone know what size and thread type bolt fits in the roof rack mounting holes? I don't have a roof rack but am trying to design a camera mount that would attach to the existing brackets on the roof.
