yellow signal

    Steering wheel on 2007 530i recently locked up while in park mode with engine off. When I tried to start car, I got a yellow signal with a lock on it and heard a clicking sound. After I tried turn the steering wheel lightly a few times, it finally released with a quick jolt. Is that normal?
