Hello, the instrument cluster went blank, so I tried disconnecting and reconnecting the battery. The instrument cluster came back, but now it refuses to start. The engine will turn over, but that's all. I took it to my imports specialist shop and they said the code says there is no rpm signal to the computer. They tried replacing the crank angle sensor but no change. They said it is probably the computer or the instrument cluster that needs replacing. Any other suggestions? Any idea what the cost of either one of these options is, since it is a dealer proprietary repair? May have to seel it but would rather not.

Thanks

Thanks, wcr3d. Already paid twice to tor it so not wanting to tow it a 3rd time. It seems like such a simple thing set it off, there should be a way to undo it. I know if I had left the battery alone, I would be still driving it.
