So I'm not 100% sure what option to go with to upgrade the stereo system in my 2006 325Ci E46 Coupe.

Factory features: SAT NAV wide screen, Tv, reverse camera (currently not working), Bluetooth mobile phone connection with steering wheel controls

I want to be able to play songs and watch vid clips and/or movies from a usb stick.
Thinking at this stage the "Dice Mediabridge MB1500" retailing on ebay for around $540 (pic#1)

I want to be able to put my music on a usb stick and play it through my original head unit with song details appearing on screen, (if possible)
Also if I can not find a reasonable priced solution to my reverse camera issue, this unit should also accommodate an aftermarket OEM cam.
Can I achieve my goal with a cheaper alternative? (including vid clips, etc)
Anyone done so or is this mediabridge the one?

Moving onto the hardware of the sound sytem:
I'm thinking I will need the "PAC SOEM-4, Universal 4-channel line output converter" ($70) (pic#2)

To hook a:
Boss PH4.600 4-Channel MOSFET POWER Amplifier 2400W Car Amp
($185) (pic#3)

To Feed a:
Alpine S 12" Sub installed in a custom area typical to this,
($200) (pic#4)

Then swap: the rear speakers out for something like this:
BMW 3 Series Front or Rear Door 13cm 2 Way 210 Watts Car Speaker Fitting Kit ($130) (pic#5)

**A set of 6" splits in the front and maybe in the rear instead of previous option (2ways)**

These will be attached to these:
BMW 3 Series E46 Front or Rear 165mm Car Speaker Adaptor Plate
($40) (pic#6)

Is there a better way to achieve what I'm hoping with different modules etc.??
:dunno: :dunno: :dunno: :dunno: :dunno: :dunno:

Dynavin will suit most of your needs for media playback (USB, DVD, bluetooth streaming, etc.). As for speakers... beyond me.

EDIT: I missed the part about your factory navigation. I think Dynavin still works... I don't rightly know.

Yep it works even if you have the factory nav, just requires a different install is all.
