$1500 Dealer Markup above MSRP?

that's insane, I would not pay MSRP for BMWs besides the M cars and the Z8. And I will not pay OVER MSRP for ANY BMWs, period.

When I ordered my 330, the 330 hadn't even come out yet and the Coupes were real hot, and I paid MSRP, I didn't know about bimmer.org back then and otherwise I wouldn't have paid that much for my car.

And I know dealerships at least around Texas that sold M3, M5, and Z8 at MSRP.

Any comments? A BMW Center in Northern California is adding an additional $1500 above the MSRP to all E46's. I was told that this surcharge is the result of increased demand. I guess that I will be making a call to Franco and traveling to Santa Barbara for our next BMW purchase.

Is this the only BMW Center with this dealer mark up?
