My brother-in-law and I have very similar cars. I have a 1996 automatic 325ic while he has a 1996 manual 318ic. Can anyone help me finding out the 0-60, 60-100, and beyond speed times. We would like to know which car has faster times and what the top speed differences are. I have searched the web with no luck. Hope someone here can help.

We thought about that, but the only track that I could find is a quarter of a mile drag which is legal. His being stick and mine being manual I would rather not do that because I will loose. However, I think that I can take him on top speed, but no track for that so I need the specs.

a manual 318 cannot beat an auto 325. You have 50 more horses and 50 more ft lbs than he does. Trust me...

I can beat my friends e46 323 auto only through 2nd (i have a manual). Unless he's modded which i doubt anyway, he cannot beat you.

I think you have it backwards, that 318 has a hell of a shot beating you on the track than it does in the straight.
