So i have a e39 523 which its airbag is always on and couldnt be erased . I have a reader which shows code 01 driver airbag and 04 passenger air bag .

Whenever i tried to erase the code 01 and 04 code just swapped can watch video for a understanding

I think its an Airbag Control Module problem

Anyone with any thoughs?

BCM = general module?

The airbags have a dedicated control module underneath the center console, towards the rear. You will need a BMW-specific scan tool to access this module and diagnosis it.

The video shown is a bmw scan tool creator c110. and the codes are 01 driver airbag and 04 passenger air bag . i think my car airbag system is MRS3

By BCM i actually mean the airbag module

The codes indicate that there is an airbag problem. Do you have Takata air bags? The humidity may be causing this.

I dont think its the air bag problem

I changed my steering wheel(newer looks)before so i have a spare old wheel and even if i placed the old steering in it wouldnt clear out the fault and it wouldnt just so happen to break both my front driver and passenger airbag at the same time huh pretty odd.
