2000 528i Overheating aux fan problem
Really stumped on this one. The aux fan only works when the A/C is on. I replaced the temp sensor on the lower radiator hose and the aux fan sensor on the shroud.
I tested the fan through INPA with low/mid/high speed and it works so I know the fan is still good.
I also checked the two big fuses underneath the glove box and they are not blown.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as the car is not drivable because it overheats.

Any other recent service to the cooling system? Sounds like you could have an air bubble in the cooling system. Did you open it up for some reason and not bleed the system?
Give us some more background. Did this just start happening or did this happen after some other service etc.?
