This will be my next project. Already have the Shark Injector Tune in my car and it runs
fantastic. Gonna add some UUC under drive pulleys as well. On sale now
for $183.20 from UUC, gotta snap some up now.

Contacted seller late last night and Adapter Plate is available. It's plug and play unlike the
Adapter Plate from Turner Motorsports which requires modification/grinding to fit and clear the (ICV) Idle Control Valve...
LOL, Im not gonna take that chance. I just want a clean install.

Need to source a M54B30 Intake Manifold and plug up (2) Vacuum Ports as I understand it and it's a clean changeover.
Intake Gaskets are the same so I'll get a new fresh set. Replace all other related Vacuum Lines and the
Brake Booster Grommet underneath the Intake Manifold and Sucking Jet and related rubber to the Brake Booster for good measure.
Gonna need a 530i Disa Valve which; if I don't buy a new one, I will find a used one and upgrade with the G.A.S.
Disa Valve Kit. Will change the Secondary Air Electric Valve and One Way Air Valve as well
for good measure. Recondition my Fuel Injectors or I might buy some new ones.

Just changing over the Intake Manifold alone will be a minimal investment, the
results from what I have read on this in conjunction with my Shark Tune yields
surprisingly great results.

Gotta start gathering all related parts and plan for a bit of downtime to do this project.

Will let you know how it works out when it all is done...Just trying to squeeze a few more Ponies
outta my 2000 Inline 6 528i...

Arent the all the m54 manifolds the same?

Yea looks like the b22 and b25 use a 10mm shorter runners compared to the old m52 intake while the b30 uses 20mm shorter runners with larger diameter runners.

I purchased the throttle body adapter from Bimmertune, it's only $25, here is the link:
http://bimmertune.com/en/petrol-eng...m54/bmw-m54-b30-330i-manifold-conversion-adapter-plate-for-m52-tu-throttle-body
The good thing from Bimmertune is that you don't need to modify the throttle body, just PnP
Hope this helps
Thanks for the link pungky29. That is an option if I commit to doing this. I'm still looking
for a Throttle Body Adapter Plate that has no obstruction to airflow from the Throttle Body onward...

Despite the Bimmertune claim that there is no obstruction due to a new design, i'm still
skeptical from the photos of said unit. I will find out from my Polish friend shortly if he has what he claims is
a un-obstructive plate or not.

Here's a pict. for those that are interested in the port differences of the two manifolds.

M54B30 on the left vs. a M52TUB on the right.

Deceptive looking; but, the M54B30 Intake matches up perfectly with the
"D" Port Design of the Cylinder Head on the M52TUB vs. the Oval Port Design of the M52TUB Intake Ports on the right.

Little by little, i'm getting more ponies outa my "528i Executive Sedan"....

Gotta take off the Intake Manifold one of these days and replace some coolant o-rings under
the Manifold as preventative maintenance.....So.... why not experiment. Maybe change out
my starter motor while i'm in there.

I'm all about preventative maintenance and while i'm at it, improve upon performance.

This is a proven upgrade for the M52TUB Engine... A Tune is a must though for best results.
