I'm moving to California (OC/LA) and am trying to make sense of the smog check rules for cars. I think I can take my 2000 M Coupe, as is, and just retitle it, but it's still confusing trying to sort out the smog certification. Anyone have any experience with this, or know when BMW (if they did) went to 50 state emissions? Due to a friendly uninsured motorist, I just had my exhaust replaced from the header back, so it would be a mess if I need to replace it again, but I suppose I'd have a very lightly used set should someone need it.

Edit - checking RealOEM, it looks like there aren't any unique California parts for the exhaust, anything else I should consider?

Thanks!
Ben
