Put my 2001 540 sport on a Dynojet today. Car is all stock sport package with steptronic and 3:15 gear. Runs were in 4th gear. Operator said he likes to run gear closest to 1:1.

Conditions: 81.03 degrees, 30.11 Hg barometric pressure, 44% humidity (seems low since it felt muggy and rained afterwards)

Results: HP 243.70, Torque 282.13.

Question for anyone who can help for next time is: Is there any way to disable the kickdown on the transmission to enable runs to start from lower RPM? Even in manual mode, had to start runs at approx. 3600 rpm to avoid kickdown.

Not as high as some of you guys but it was fun. :)

Thanks for any help.

For a stock engine, you are right where you should be, depending on power loss through the drivetrain, you are right around 287-292, which is very respectable!
