For sale is a Black E39 M5 with 76,000 miles. Black on Black with wood trim (currently covered in 3M carbon fiber wrap), 6MT, Extended Leather, Michelin Super Sports (1 year old). Over $10k in receipts over 3 years of ownership. Mechanically very sound. No codes or dead pixels in the dash, everything works as it should. The car has some minor cosmetic issues: Driver's seat has a loose seam, some other interior leather has similar issues, small scrape on the bumper, finish on the wheels is peeling in some small areas. This is a daily-driven car that I have owned for three years and maintained at the same shop, which has focused on reliability and modest reversible upgrades during my ownership.

That looks like a nice M5.

I have an honest question. Why did you cover up your license plates? When you drive the car, the plates can be seen, so why hide them when selling the car?

I was just told that you should cover up your plates or blur them out when posting a car for sale for safety reasons. The car is fully licensed and titled of course.
