The freon continues leaking out and the a/c does NOT blow cold air...happens every year...2 yrs. now...heard the best way to detect a leak is to put dye into the system when it's recharged with freon. When that's done, how is the leak detected? I also heard of a tool called a "sniffer"?? Is that supposed to locate the approximate area of the leak? So, anyone out there who has experienced this problem and/or anyone who knows what to do please let me know. I figure since it's still winter, this is the best time to have a/c work done on the car...might be less expensive?? Anything that I can do myself to save $$ ??
