When I put my key in nothing is coming on .. anyone know what this could be?

How old is the battery ? Does this car sit for periods of time without being driven ?

Battery is brand new and yes it does

Define nothing. Interior lights? central locking system? ignition? dash lights?

A bad (corroded/dirty) ground will often prevent a complete electrical circuit....check that first.

Check the battery posts to make sure they are secure. Use a multimeter to get a voltage reading.

I would be looking for the main fuse , if you know how to use a multi meter then tracing will be simple enough but mostly there might be a fuse blown , had a mazda recently that took out the huge main fuse and was sooo dead
