Hello,
I got my car replace the airbag by dealer (for the recall) but both the light still one. Dealer said that the sensor going bad but they can tell which one till they run a diag on it (cost $125 just to run diag). They said they are just replace the the airbag itself and not touching the sensor.

What tool or code reader can read the airbag and seat bell code?

Thank you

Unfortunately buying the tool to reset the airbag light won't help if you have a bad sensor. You'll need to find out which one is throwing the code and replace it. Then you can have the airbag light turned off. I believe a Peake tool will reset airbag lights, multiple others on eBay claim to dim the same. But again, you must fix the issue before resetting the light.

As for a scanner that reads airbag codes, I can't help you there. Sorry.

Thank you,
I'm not looking for a quick fix. I want to know what tool can read the error code (not how to reset it) and give me the bad sensors or something else.

Did the dealer replace the airbag that had a recall on it?
Mine has the airbag light and there's a recall for the passenger airbag I believe.
I'm going to take it in eventually here.
