My 2002 BMW 530i temperature controls are not responding to button presses the heat is always on very low and sometimes that buttons push themselves to make the heat go higher how can I fix this problem its to hot to drive with the heat on all my fuses are good thanks in advance i just bought my e39 4 days ago so youll be seeing me around here alot

Also the lights and everything come on it just wont respond to button presses but will recirculate from the botton on the steering wheel

What is the overnight battery voltage? S/b 12.5+.

What is the voltage at 1500 RPM? S/b 14.

I dont know how to check but i do know that the day i boughtit i had to replace the battery and alternator so im just assuming its perfect it better be

If so, you need to take it to a shop for diagnosis.
