Hey everyone!
I have a 2003 bmw 745i. I heard a knocking noise come from the engine sounded like an alternator knock but im not positive. I parked the car for the night and did some searching and havent found anything that matches the noise except for an alternator. When i got up for work i went to the car started it and it started weak. So i took it to the dealer and they didnt have any spots open so i went to move the car out of the customer spot to a service spot and when i went to start it, didnt crank or anything just one click. No errors came up. All my electronics work and i just had the battery replaced. I towed it home with my flatbed to do some more research before i go spending a million at the dealer. Any help on this subject is very much appreciated. Thank you for your time.
