Hi all,

I am new to this...I have a 2004 E46 320i, yesterday morning i tried to switch it on but i couldn't...everything seemed to be OK, all the lights were normal and no error messages appeared but when i turn the key to the ignition point i got nothing...not a single sound to indicate anything...any comments on that??

thank you

Try starting it in neutral, not Park....if that doesn`t work, switch the battery for one you know FOR SURE is good....

I think it's safe to say you have a battery because you mention that "all the lights were normal and no error messages appeared". I suspect that either the starter motor is toasted, or your car thinks it's not in Park, and as an automatic it won't deliver power to the starter motor unless it's in Park.

Put it in neutral, push it 10 feet, forcefully put it back in Park, and try to turn it again. Aside from that, I've got noting for you. I'd be calling a mechanic.
