I bought a battery last year and since last month it stays dead. I jumped start the car and it runs for a hour and half. I turned it off and started it again and it slow started but still starts. I waited five minutes and the battery was dead again. I attach my carly adapter and run a parameter check on the battery and it shows 14 .7 volt while engine running so I assumed the alternator is charging. In the summer time if I don't drive it for a week I have to boost it to start it. Is it possible the alarm system could be draining the battery

You need a battery tender.

The moment you do limited miles and usage on these cars you need to keep the battery charged by using a tender, either trickle charged or once a week. These cars use so much battery power in starting it takes a decent run to get the battery back to a fuller charge. There are hundreds of threads on the problem. You need to read a few to understand how to manage your car especially battery condition!!
