Hi Everyone,
I have a 2006 530XI which has a mileage of 82K at this time. It has been maintained well with up to date on all maintenance issues. Since the last two years, I have been noticing that the car won't heat up or cool instantly like a new car or a car with that much mileage usually does. I live in Chicago and I have to drive the car for at least 3-4 miles, before I feel significant heat or AC kick in. Even though the climate is adjusted to full heat and all the vents are completely open, I don't feel the burst of air that usually comes in a new car. It is pretty faint.
I understand, my car is old and I should probably trade it in, but just wondering if there's any fix for this, besides giving it up.
Thanks
