Several times, I have push to start and it wouldn't start... I would wait and try may 2 to 3 times after...Then it will start... is there something wrong or I'm doing something wrong... If so, what can I do differently or tell a mechanic,... It's a new purchase 2007 750i

RTFM? START/STOP and pressing nothing else cycles through Condition I, Condition II, OFF. START requires OFF, BRAKE pedal pressed, ACCELERATOR NOT pressed.

Make sure you are stepping down on brakes all the way before pushing the start button, try that.

This just happened to my 07 750Li. So far no issues since yesterday's fix. The battery in the trunk was not locked well with the bracket that holds the battery in the corner and I found the battery cables where loose so I tightened up all bolts cables and so far good.
