Sorry to revive an old thread. But as anyone figured out what causes this gear selector noise? I watched the OP video and mine isn't as bad. But when it sits in park, it will occasionally make that noise, almost like it is cycling through something.

In my case it was as seen in post #16 of this thread. If you have a code reader you will see some GWS codes.
