2009 X5 diesel sounds noisier or is it me?

It has been a couple of months now and my 2009 Diesel X5 appears to sound noisier as I drive it. I notice it after I accelerate. Not sure if it is me or others have the same experience...

The louder the better. It lets all the slow people in the left lane know I'm coming.
Diesels do get louder as the miles pour on them, especially common rail ones. You're fine. No issues
I wish they were louder. I got rid of my muffler and it sounds the same. It is a shame.
