I'm new to this site if someone can can point me in the right direction.
I have a 2010 X5 35d just out of extended warranty and the check engine light came on.
I toke to a local shop and the flowing codes come up :
4595H/17813
4674
4593
4596H/17814
4B99
4DSCM/19804
4CC4H/19460
4Co9M/19465
I found some postings about 4B99 referring to a short circuit on bank 2 from water liking on to the engine so I cheeked and I have the same issue. My question the problem is the wiring or the injectors and how to troubleshoot ?

You should clear all those codes and see which ones come back, there are too many right now.

Is this a misfire or external to the engine? I've heard of moisture/condensation in the turbo air coolers being sucked into the engine and causing short term issues. I'm wagging it.

I already removed the intake so I can check the wiring .

The water is leaking from outside due to a crack in the plastic above injector #5 and #6

I will measure the resistance of each injector to see if i can pinpoint out the bed one . Any other suggestions how can I test injectors . The dealer wants $ 1100 for 1 injector.

This issue comes up periodically and I thought there was a detailed DYI on it but after searching fairly extensively I am unable to find the thread I had in mind. Maybe it was all a dream but I thought it was from another Canadian member.

In the mean time, I am attaching a doc for the injector replacement procedure. Very high level. That being said, there are threads on injectors if you do a search here, and BavAuto.com has a fairly detailed video on replacing injectors on an N54 along with detailed steps for the procedure on page 5.

Good luck, post outcome and any DIY tips.

No I have not. I just measure the resistance but all 6 are the same . 182 / 183 k ohm. I was checking the wires to and they all look fine.

So you suggesting to change all 3 injectors from bank #2 ? I's a little pricey at $1100 a piece.

I think Blue Dragon has the same issue if I remember correctly .
