Gents,

Long story short I will need to rebuilt my engine,

I have two options:

First, buy a used short engine


Second,

Buy new parts,

Engine block
Pistons
Crank bearing + Rors bearing
Full gasket kit



In your opinion?

What the best to go.

And for new parts should we need to add more parts as well,,

I'd look for a '11-'13 engine at a wrecker from x5M/x6M if you're really gonna do this.

get the ECU too, just in case.

I live in Dubai , I found two used engine in all across UAE,

The first engine it got head problem cost (6K$)

2nd one it's too expensive around 10K $ without labor costs ($1500).

So if I go for new parts it will cost around 9K $


What do you think?
