it is possibly just coincidence. Have you had the battery load tested ? I would also check every single fuse. Double check any sensors that might be unplugged.

I did check the battery (2 years old) and all is good there. I checked all the sensors and plugs that I unplugged during the Gasket Cover change and made sure they were all plugged in. I even checked the other plugs in the surrounding area in case I accidentally hit one during the work. Also, I checked every fuse behind the glove box. With the engine off I got out my voltmeter and checked the 2 red wires in the engine compartment. I get over 12 volts on the wire on the right and .10 volts on the one on the left. I don’t get any reading on the valvetronic plug.. if I turn on the ignition I still get over 12 volts on the right wire and .30 on the left one. The valvetronic motor plug I get 1.5 volts. Could this be my problem? I see a fuse in the box in the engine compartment (see pic) but it was good. Where else can I check for fuses or relays?it is possibly just coincidence.
