Is it worth the update from the 15 map to the 16? I don't mean just the money. Has anyone done it and found beneficial changes? Thanks for feedback.

 

Personally, I think it is always best to have latest Map Database. The degree of gain though depends largely on how much new infrastructure is occurring in your specific area, or new business development (POI's).

 

Anyone with the '16 map updates regularly travel the NJ Turnpike? I'm wondering if the maps show the new divided lanes for Cars/Trucks south of Exit 8A. Thanks.

Are the latest maps still the ones in the first post? Just picked up a 2016 X5 (with nbt, it does not have nbt evo), so wanted the latest maps. I think it has 2016-1 but was not sure if a later one has been released for nbt yet.

Yes, North America NEXT 2016-1 is the latest.

I have a 2016 428i conv. How can I determine which update I need?

2016 335GT. Yesterday got a message on screen that said update available asked if i wanted to do it now or later i pressed now. Restarted went to nav screen and had a little 100% where time is display on top right corner. Does that mean my car updated over the air? Did not know that was available.

 

Yes, your 2016 has NBT2 EVO, and will receive regional updates OTA.

 

Check the date to see if it updated.
