I have a 2007 3.0 si with 82,000 miles. Just replaced valve cover gasket, spark plugs, and BMW vanos valves. Hesitation issue is now solved. No issues with idle before except for momentary surge when cold.

On start-up, I get a wild fluctuation in rpm and it also stalls. I get the following codes:



If I hit the gas right away, it settles down. Once past the initial start up, the car idles and runs great.

Any help would be appreciated
