Anyone have one? Love it, hate it, don't bother, easy or hard to install? Retails at BMW for $180. I wanted the automatic roller shades but it was not a must have, so now am looking into other options.
I only had 3 series coupes... 330 and 335.. but if you give rides to people and they complaint about the sun, maybe... :dunno:
I have rear window roll-up sun shade thingys in my x5 but people hardly ever use..
they say "oh, cool" at first, but unless they want to hide behind them for some reason, they hardly ever use them. (i had some people wanted to hide behind them.. don't ask why..:tsk
If you have somewhat dark tint on your windows, especially...
just my opinion..
I've had the electric rear window and manual side window shades on the last couple three series, and love having them. Warm days and black interior; crack the windows and shades up, the car does not become an oven. Also when someone is being a jerk behind me I like to touch the button and roll up the shade. George
One of the reasons I did not go with a 135i, no shades.
