Hello,

I have an intermittent battery drain on a 325ci, mechanic could not figure out the cause. I'm tempted to disconnect the battery each time I leave the car until I can get it fixed. Can I just disconnect the negative terminal in the morning, then reconnect it at night? Or do I need to disconnect both? Any help is appreciated.

It could be a worn out heater blower/fan final stage resistor. I think I read in the forum some place that other people were experiencing dead batteries due to heater blower/fan running when the car was off because of this resistor.

If you really need to, you can get a quick disconnect for the battery. You only need to remove the negative side.
