Hi guys, I have a 330e 2017 with Active cruise control and lane departure warning.. Can active lane keeping be programmed or does this need separate parts?
Will this invalidate any warranty?
I'm in UK

Thanks

I just picked up a 2018 330e with the Driver Assistance Package. This includes Speed Limit Information, Active Driving Assistant, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, pedestrian warning and city collision mitigation BUT NOT things like Active Lane Keep or Active Cruise Control. It is really just warning info unless you pay for the Active Driving Assistant Plus package (I think that's what it's called).

At delivery, the BMW Genius explained that those require additional RADAR/SONAR equipment and, as such, are not just a software upgrade.

Yep i have the driving assistance package and active cruise control so i think the hardware is there and only needs some programming unless the active lane keeping has specific equipment
