Just ordered my '07 335xi sedan a week ago (many thanks to the advice from this board). Scheduled for an August 24 build date. I am assuming this will probably be one of the last '07 produced.

Any concerns about a build date so close to the model year change-over?

Montego blue
black leather/silver trim
Steptronic
Sport/18" wheels
Nav
comfort access
heated seats

Looking forward to posting some pics when it arrives.

Saving a few grand was not my primary motivation.

The only thing that might happen is you get some 08 features on your 07 if they have started switching over, although I'm not sure if there are any changes.

Hello, jenlain. I did the same thing last week. My understanding was that by doing so I would simply be saving money given 1. the expected price increase in MY08, and 2. the seeming lack of any meaningful changes in model specs from MY07 to MY08.

Like you, absolute cost was not my main interest. I wanted a 335xi configured in a particular way. To that end, I had to order a car first, then I will have to have minor modifications made after I take delivery (one cosmetic, one functional.)

Here's to us getting our new '07 335xis without a hitch!

Best,

Nice, the blue really grew on me. I don't see any reason why a late build date would be bad. The later the better really.

Check out Bimmerfest. :blah: Wait. :drink: And so on.....

After a while something new will happen. Then you have something different to wait for. :)

First you wait for the car to be built. :D

Then you wait for it to get to Bremerhaven. :)

Then you wait for it to get on a boat.

Then you wait for the boat. :eeps:

Then you wait for it to get to VPC.

Then you wait for it to get to the Dealer. :banghead:

Then...:drive: :wow: :typing: :drive: :wow: :typing:

Then your HPFP fails and you begin the process anew! :lmao:

Actually if there is an improved version of the pump you are sure to get it!
Best wishes.
