I am starting this thread because I am currently troubleshooting a 4x4 light only problem. As soon as the car is started, the 4x4 light comes on. Current code is 53fc terminal 30 no voltage. I will update this as we go. Image1547840032.082058.jpg Image1547840075.894237.jpg Image1547840105.370957.jpg

1. I have checked the related fuses to the 4x4 system. I’m attaching pics of the fuse diagram.

Have you checked voltage at the pin on the control unit? Could be a short. Also what’s the year and make of it. I’ll see if I can look it up and tell you where that pin is. And while module has the code?

Need to know year, model, & build date to link proper TIS schematics. Although your "mein auto" says 325xi, the fuse chart you show is for 2008 & later vehicles.

Based upon evidence provided thus far :), here is DSC Power Supply schematic for 2008 & later vehicles:
https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/.../supply-dsc-dynamic-stability-control/hq7cJ5Y

Fuse numbers & locations, and other circuit design issues, vary between models -2007/02, 2007/09+ and 2007 models built between 3/1/2007 & 9/1/2007. Once you have the correct circuit diagram in hand (and a DMM ;-), check ALL fuses supplying the DSC, and if they are OK, test for 12V+ at all the Red wires, and for continuity to ground at all the Brown wires of Connector X1746 at the DSC module.

Please let us know what you find,
George

If the battery was disconnected or it lost battery power
some how it's normal for it to come up with and x drive error.
This error is usually reset by cranking the steering wheel
all the way to the stops left and right or driving it a few blocks.

If it does not go away after doing that you need a BMW capable
scanner or Inpa Ista setup.

sort out any battery or alternator problem before looking at the 4x4 error.
