550 vs Jag xf?

Right now I have a 525 but I'm in the market for a 550. I went home to visit my parents and my dad who is moving to Hawaii had said he was just going to buy a new car when he moved back to the states. I was trying to convince him to pick up a BMW but the dealership in his town was small and didn't have much for us to look at or drive. He picked up a jag. We're kind of competitive and I just want to know if anyone knows how a jag would compare to a 550.

550 would smoke those Jags all day long unless it was the supercharged version.

Jag XF is a sexy car. But the BMW 550 will out run/drive that Jag any hour of the day. You should get the 550 and meet him for lunch somewhere in remote utah or Nevada. Then give him a son to father lesson. Not saying I wouldn't drive an XF, but that might be my dinner car with my wife.

I tried to get my Dad in a 550. He likes the size of my 525, he just has the same complaint I have. Not enough power and lacking a few options that would be nice. Hopefully I can find the right 550 within the next couple months.

What options are lacking from 550's? Or are you referring to a specific car.... One feature I got used to in my wife's Cadillac cts is remote start but the comfort access feature on my 550i s just freaking cool... Being able to close all of the windows and sunroof by holding the door is sweet
