Sounds awesome! I'd personally rather not stay on the summit of Stelvio. I didn't see much in Bormio. Plus if you have to forget to get gas or something for example...huge PIA. You'll have to drive down and up a huge pass.

I'd stay in Stelvio or Stilfs...whatever its called.

Thanks for the pointer bigjae. I am still toying on the idea of staying on the summit of Stelvio. Didn't make the hotel reservations yet. Now that you have pointed it out, Would definitely double check on the gas!
