Bought a 95Ah AGM battery to replace the original 105Ah AGM. Normally i Should do coding before registering it.
But how about just register this 95Ah as 105Ah without coding?
The car takes the battery as 105Ah and usually charges it to 80%, i.e 105Ah*80% = 84Ah, there is gap of 11Ah (95 - 84) for regenerator charging.
For daily commuting(<20mils), the battery always maintain SOC of 90% plus. Sound good.
What will happen?
-Alternator charging algorithm may harm the battery?
-PM may degrade the health status of the battery?
