And confirmed my suspicions...The E65 looks dopey and ugly when it's standing still, but once the car is moving it's all beauty and poetry. OMG I saw it in my rear view mirror and next thing I know the guy blasted by at about 120 mph on the 10 East bound. Being 6:00 am on a Saturday Morning, there was just me and him on the road so I dropped to 4th and floored it, caught up with him in about 5 minutes and gave him the thumbs up and backed off. It's amazing how this car just completely changes character and the lines just BLEND in when it's moving. It really looks like a completely different car.

I think Bangle has got another winner on his hands. Believe it or not, all the dealerships I've visited can not keep the E65 on their lot...On average there's a six month back log and wait time. If I am in the market for a big lux. sedan, and had to choose between Lexus, Merc. and BMW I will again choose BMW. The E65 is IMPRESSIVE.

True, I'm reading sales/order figures of the E65. Germany sales are awful since launch (40%-45% lower than the previous model), but overseas, especially USA sales are booming.

I saw a silver E65 the other day at night. The rear end with the parking lights on looked pretty nasty. I've seen a black one at night from the front and it looked pretty nice. I think if they just remodeled the rear, the car would look half way decent. IMO the color of the E65 can make a big difference. Darker colors look much better. It hides the size of the car and the lines blend better. I just hope they do something about the rear end. And hopefully, the new styling doesn't carry over to the new 3 series or I might have to keep my E46 forever.

That's a known fact!

No Avalanche, Aztek, Escalade, Blackwood, Navigator, LX470....:tsk:
You mean the Lincoln Navigator ? People would go crazy for it here. Very expensive, too big for Euro roads and very thirsty, though.

See, but at least they have logic to not buy it since it makes no sense at all. I would need to buy shares in my gas station to afford the "petrol" bills though
