'08 E93. Bought Kool-it evaporator foam cleaner. Instructions sez shoot it up the A/C drain tube under the car. I do not have a lift and I never see the usual water dripping after a ride on a hot day with A/C on.
Contacted Kool-it customer service and they sez don't shoot it through the dash vents and make sure the A/C drain hose is clear and shoot it from under the car.
Is that my only option?
Pls advise, thanx.

I don't have experience or knowledge of the E93's air handling system. But I had a non-BMW that stunk - holy cow! People told me that if I'd turn off the AC a couple before shutting the car off, etc.etc. and they didn't understand. It was eye-stinging horrible, not the little mustiness that some cars have.

I got a lot of relief using Kool-it. I removed the blower motor and the used a cheap USB endoscope/boroscope to view where the end of the Kool-It tube was as I shoved both into the duct from the blower to the evaporator, with the camera several inches behind the end of the tube. When I got the tube aimed at the back of the evaporator, I'd inject the cleaning foam. If that doesn't drain out underneath the car, then you really need to find that drain and clean it out.
