Well I know to almost all of you this is nothing, but my 323i is a 6/99 build which means I am lacking the tilt-down rearview mirror when shifting into reverse and the clock on the radio. Well, I got BMW to replace my radio when the old one started to act up on me, and low and behold I get back into the car to leave and I see that I now have clock button. I turn the car on, and there pops up the clock. Thanks BMW! I now have a cool new feature and my car doesn't "feel" as old.

For those of you that don't know what I am talking about, these were features that were added as of 9/99 production. I was a few months short of getting them.

EDIT: It looks like I wasn't that clear. I have a new radio in the car and it has the clock built in. My original radio did not have this.

Your driveway:
2000 323i Sport + Premium
1991 318i

My driveway:
2000 323i Sport
1991 325is

I dunno, pretty similiar to me. Great minds think alike? :dunno:
I guess they do! I bought the E30 back in October and its been a great toy. It is alot of fun to drive. Its in great condition too, with a mere 90,000 miles. Gotta love it! It also helps me keep the miles off the E46 :)

Update on the radio: well it died on me today. I went back to the dealer and it turns out the new radio was also defective. Luckily, they had not sent the old unit back to BMW and they gave it back to me. What a bummer... no more clock :) Oh well...

Yup, those E30's are great. My dad bought his new and has about 226k(about 140 mi) km's on it now. So with us it's the opposite; we take the E46 out to keep the miles off of the E30! :p

Sorry to hear about the radio, but it's not like you need to know what time it is in a Bimmer. It just reminds me of how much time I waste driving around pointlessly! :D
