Apparently there is an AC leak in my system. Is there an aftermarket sealant that you can put through the system. Had my AC charged at the shop and it held and blew cold for a while then stopped working. Must be a small leak, but not sure where it is coming from. Thanks for any advice.

An emergent charge should include a leak revealing dye. The function of the evaporator/thermal expansion valve includes a leak-sized orifice, obviating a sealant of which I have never heard.

A legitimate shop is required by the epa laws to locate and fix any leaks prior to recharging the system.
