I have a 01 330ci the ac works fine most of the time but for no reason it just stop blowing.No air at all then a few days later it starts back working and the air is extremely cold..Right now its not working..From just looking a mechanic said the blower was working,the fuses were not blown,but it COULD be the relay but he would have to take the dash off.... What could be my problem?

Final stage resistor (FSR) also called final stage unit (FSU) could be the culprit, and would be easily changed out. Another possibility is the HVAC control panel. Here's some reading for you: http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=716322

Concur. It sounds like the FSR is bad. It's not hard to replace it but buy a quality replacement part. Otherwise you'll be replacing the FSR again. I believe the original supplier is Hella. Try fcpeuro for a new FSR.

Ac wont blow

Thanks guys...
My mechanic said it is the blower motor.He said it was not firing even when he put 12 volts to it.So its worse than I expected but im glad its being fixed.
