I have some weird knocking noises (clunk like) in the front suspension (driver side) when hitting even small road bumps, but I hear them only in the morning when the vehicle is cold; when the car is hot, the noise is almost absent.

I take off at 7am everyday, so all shops are closed, and by the time I can see a mechanic the noise is not there anymore (typical!!) since the temperature and the car are hot.

two guys have checked up the suspension (specially the front) and said there is nothing wrong. They recomended me to take the car to pressure wash the chassis and then have the suspension parts (rubbers specially) kind of sprayed with oil (just the way the treat the chassis).

I would like to hear opinions on this.

I have noticed that on rainy days (which are really rare where I live) the weird noises reduce. So seems reasonable to lubricate of the rubber parts in the suspension (rod, bars, arms or whatever)

can one change only the rubber (bushings)?
