I am looking to change my factory wheels to 20" staggered setup. I am getting confused when doing research as to the correct size for my vehicle. Some sites say front offset should be 35, while others say 38. Also, rears are coming in at 38 or 42. I drive a 2013 550 xdrive and want to make sure the tire matches the current diameter of my factory 19" wheel setup. Can someone please enlighten me with the correct wheel and tire size for my vehicle. Should the fronts be 20x8, 20x9, 20x10 and what size for the rears, 20x10.5? Also, which offset and the correct tire size to keep them from rubbing. I know that it is important to keep the fronts and rears the same size in diameter for the all wheel drive system.

Thanks in advance for all the help.

If you compare to what Factory Wheels BMW offers you’ll be fine.

ET and centering Rings on AM Wheels really do matter.

Don’t forget the RDC Sensors.

Typical 20” setup;

FELGENDETAILS M464

Teilenummer: 6854558 6854559
Größe: 8,5J x 20 ET 33 9J x 20 ET 44
Lochzahl / -kreis: 5/120 5/120

245/35 R20 95Y 275/30 R20 97Y

285/30 Rear is also OK

Several members with rear wheel drive F10's have gone with the M5 343M wheels. You'll need to check to see if the circumferences will work for AWD. The offset really depends on how flush you want the tires to be to the fenders. The setup for the 343m's below gets the tires fairly flush.
Fronts- 9x20 ET:34 - 265/35R20
Rears 10x20 ET:34 - 295/30R20

A couple of good sites to use in your research
www.tiresize.com - shows the circumference
www.willtheyfit.com - compares old to new wheel offsets

Also, there are many threads in this forum on 20" aftermarket wheels
